Who Am I?

Mr. Ahmed Bardan is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Leeds teaching Hospitals who specialises in Cornea, Cataract and Refractive surgery.

Mr. Bardan is certified by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists for laser and lens based refractive surgery and additionally is an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists’ certificate of laser and refractive surgery (CertLRS) exams.

Mr. Bardan has done Master of Science studying customised laser refractive correction of complex eyes and did PhD on combining cataract surgery with selective corneal endothelial transplantation.

He has contributed to national and international courses and workshops on cataract surgery, immediately sequential bilateral cataract surgery, delivery of cataract service, and anterior lamellar and endothelial keratoplasty techniques.
