We have done a lot of work on immediately sequential bilateral cataract surgery including peer reviewed publications and book chapters and discussed it in detail in our Cataract surgery textbook. There are special precautions that we take when we treat both eyes at the same time which will maximise your outcomes, improve safety and reduce risks.
